Arters Acres

We’re not only into design - we’RE also INTO SUSTAINABLE farming

About The Farm

In 2019, Nic & Lacey Arters purchased this 4.5 acre, former century farm, located in Westfield Center, Ohio. Sitting vacant for more than 10 years, along with being neglected for more than 20 years before that, it has been a labor of love getting this local eyesore, back to it’s original purpose.

In 2022, they created Arters Acres. With a focus on seed-to-table, sustainable farming - following organic farming practices, they enjoy the fruits of their labor growing a wide variety of healthy produce and fall ornamentals. The farm also provides them another means for them to give back to their local community by donating produce and ornamentals to local families in need.

About The Growers

conquering the world Together SINCE 2001

Both from humble upbringings, Nic & Lacey have worked diligently to create the life they love!

Starting their young live’s together as a Heavy Equipment Operator & Restaurant Server, they focused on raising Nic’s young son, while growing through the complexities of young adult life themselves. In 2008, Nic joined the business world where his successful career has provided opportunities he and Lacey never dreamed of, and helped foster a deeper understanding for the value of “the simple life.”

Partners in all they do, Nic and Lacey love giving back, creating opportunities, growing things, and working together as a team!

Nic Arters

With a family history deeply rooted in farming and equipment since the early 1800’s, Nic couldn’t help but to love being in the dirt, growing things, and just being outside doing work. With his career taking him away from the jobsite & fields, he kept searching for a way to get back in the operator’s seat. That search ended when he & Lacey decided to start the small farm they call home today. If you’re trying to get ahold of Nic and can’t reach him, he’s probably out back working with Pablo and the tractor.

Lacey Arters

Raised down the road from Amish Country in Wooster, Ohio, Lacey is no stranger to agriculture, farming, and the outdoor life. With a keen eye for detail and a soft spot for all things Mother Nature, she’s the driving force behind the farm’s sustainability efforts and the reason things grow in our fields. When she’s not running the best Interior Design business in Medina County, she’s busy being the best cat mom that ever existed. If you can’t find Lacey, she’s most likely in the garden.

Pablo Emilio- aka Mr. Handsome

An abandoned stray that hit the jackpot when he found his furever home with Nic and Lacey in October of 2021. Pablo loves all things farming, especially pumpkin farming. So much so, they’ve nicknamed the pumpkin patch “Pablo’s Patch”. Aside from farming, Pablo LOVES to paw at doors, wake his family up at 3 am, creep on all his neighbors, and live out his absolute best life everyday. He’s a good boy!
