Humble Beginnings
Founded more than 10 years ago, after their own wedding was nationally published, Nic encouraged Lacey to make her mark in the Wedding and Event design world by starting Arters Design. Teaming up Nic’s business acumen alongside Lacey’s natural design abilities - Arters Design quickly grew from small Event Design to more-extensive Commercial, Retail, and Residential Interior Design projects.
With an unexpected demand for their Custom Home Design Service, they decided to foster Arters Design’s organic growth and limit the services they offered to focus their valued expertise primarily on Custom Home Design.
Of course, Lacey has a soft spot for the Holidays (particularly Christmas), so Holiday Styling will always be on the list of things they love to do!

Only going full-time with Arters Design in 2020, Nic and Lacey are humbled and honored to have their design firm winning area based awards and being nationally recognized in online publications.

Simplicity is THEIR Jam
While their designs are big, Nic and Lacey love living a simple, minimalist lifestyle. Do good things, good things happen is more than just a mantra for them, it’s been their design template in creating a life they love.
Choosing to keep their personal and family’s live’s off social media, they do love to share pictures, stories, and videos of their beloved menace cat, Pablo Emilio. He’s practically become a celebrity, with many friends and clients asking about his recent antics.
Together more than 20 years
Nic and Lacey are partners in all they do! Both growing up through adversity sparked their passion to help local children and families in need. In 2022 they created Arters Acres, a small farm that not only provides them both the enjoyment of growing their own food, but also as another means to give back to the local community.
Enjoying their live’s together, Nic and Lacey love creating opportunities, watching YouTube videos together, and working on projects as a team!
